Tony Guerro (Deceased) Navajo Silversmith
Tony Guerro was
one of the greatest Navajo silversmiths.
Learning from his father and uncles the basic old
traditional deep stamp work style, Tony expanded his
craftsmanship to include many unique presentations of
silversmith arts.
Tony Guerro was not only a skilled craftsman but was a
very enabling Father.
Tony not only taught silversmithing skills to his
children and grandchildren, but more importantly life
skills.
Honesty and integrity was Tony Guerros legacy to his
family and whomsoever he touched.
Tony Guerro Moved out of this life December, 6 1993

Grandson of the Navajo Chief
who led the TOJALIILLI (Canyoncito, New Mexico) Band Of the
Navajo Tribe back from their captivity at Ft. Sumner New
Mexico
The Navajo Nation was defeated by the US Army led by Kit
Carson. They were subsequently rounded up and encamped at
Ft. Sumner N.M.
Tom Willeto has stood in his Grandfathers Moccasins working
to enhance the Canyoncito Chapter of Navajo Nations
commitments to excellence in reservation Life. Tom Willeto
is an Assembly Of God Ordained Pastor.
Tom Willeto has been working with Phillip Zachary in the
design and production of Unique and Quality Navajo Handmade
Jewelry since 1965.
